This assignment has three tasks related to your project. <\OL>

First, you need to bring the references up to date. You should by now have done this, but I want to make the job specific.

Using the best work that you have found (not necessarily the most current), you need to illustrate some calculation from this work on your Web page. It does not have to be exactly what the author describes, but needs to be related! Certainly, you do not need to extend what the author(s) has done. Examples include a small simulation, perhaps illustrating the underlying problem, or a graphic showing the nature of the problem and its solution.

As a challenge, can you write a plot function that is able to capture the variable names and put them on the axes without (at the command line) using the variable-names option?
