Revisiting the Pythagorean Expectation Formula: Try to improve on the original Pythagorean expectation formula for the four major American sports.
A Pythagorean Points Formula: Try to devise a formula to predict the number of points scored by an English soccer team as a function of the number of goals for and goals again. Note: you can do this project using data from the NHL too!
Distance-to-Nearest-Defender: How does the distance to the nearest defender affect the chances of a basketball player making a shot?
